Police Neighbourhood Teams
The borough of Broxbourne is divided into six police neighbourhood areas, for which there four ‘Safer Neighbourhood Teams’ that cover Cheshunt and Waltham Cross. These are Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Goffs Oak/Rosedale and part of the Wormley/Turnford area. These teams hold regular surgeries at locations in the neighbourhood, as well as other events organised throughout the year. Police surgeries offer a good opportunity for you to meet officers and get advice on crime prevention or any other issues. You can find out who your local Safer Neighbourhood team is by visiting http://www.herts.police.uk/ or contact them by calling 0845 33 00 222.
Get to know the Police and Police Community Support Officers that patrol your local area. Police surgeries give you the opportunity to meet members of the local safer neighbourhood team, get crime prevention advice and discuss issues relating to the local area. For a list of future events, visit http://www.broxbourne.gov.uk/
Neighbourhood Forums are held to encourage residents to get involved in making their community safer. The forums consider local solutions to help reduce the number of incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour. Broxbourne Council arranges these forums twice a year in each of the four police neighbourhood areas discussed above. The meetings are attended by local councillors and officers from Broxbourne Council and Hertfordshire Constabulary. All residents are welcome to attend. More information can be found here: http://www.broxbourne.gov.uk/neighbourhood_forums
